Ski, Golf, Villa, Borovets, self catering holiday

This spacious self catering villa is situated on the Jack Nicklaus golf course (9 holes and driving range already completed), in a valley overlooking the beautiful Rila mountains, approx 45 minutes drive from Sofia airport, just outside a village called Dolna Banya. You will enjoy some stunning scenery on the 15/20 min drive to Borovets which can also be arranged by daily shuttle bus if required. The villa has been newly furnished to accomodate up to 7 (max), with two double bedrooms, one single and a sofa bed in the living room. The villa is fully heated with a seperate utility for washing machine and a garage for ski/golf storage.

Each bedroom has a door to the balcony which has a table and chairs, perfect for that end of day glass of wine, or an early morning coffee. The villa also has a garage for ski and boot storage, a large garden on a private corner plot and a communal swimm

Local Activities

The golf course has nine holes completed, a driving range and bar. There is a Church on site and activities nearby include both a flying and horse riding school. Surrounded by the Rila mountains, mountain climbing and walking/hiking are plentiful. For golfers, Inhtiman Golf course is approximately 20 mins away. The nearby Maritsa River is quite abundant with fish and permits are available.

Other Information

It is not necessary to hire a car as a shuttle service can be arranged from the airport and also to the slopes daily. Some of the road surfaces have yet to be concreted but are fully accessible even in heavy snow. The nearest supermarkets for food shopping are in Dolna Banya and Kostenets, both of which are about a 5 minutes drive away. Borovets has an abundance of restaurants and bars, but nearer to the Villa are a couple of local restaurants in the village of Dolna Banya, and the local Hotel and Bar is on the doorstep. There are more family restaurants, in neighbouring villages, these can be stopped at on the way back from Borovets at the end of the days skiing.
