Description: Sleeps up to 8 (2 via a sofa bed)

The newly built chalet is situated in the picturesque village of Madjare in the highest mountain on the Balkan peninsula and just 7 miles away from the slopes of Bulgaria's International ski resort Borovets, offering a great variety of ski runs, the longest of which is 5800m long.

The accommodation is fully furnished and comprised as follows:

Ground floor: Ski room for equipment, downstairs shower room and toilet, large lounge/dining room with log burning fire, fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer

Upstairs: 3 double bedrooms comprising of, master bedroom with dual aspect balconies with spectacular views, two further double bedrooms both with 2 single beds in each and access to a balcony, separate toilet, bathroom with shower and further toilet.

The chalet is also fully centrally heated.

Outside: Patio, BBQ, and garden. Driveway leading to allocated parking for one car. Further parking available outside on the road.

New dual satellite TV system giving access to hundreds of channels across Europe.

Summer 2008 4 DVD players have been added (lounge and 3 bedrooms) with over 60 hours of mixed DVD content for my customer to enjoy.

With flights to Sofia, lift passes and ski equipment hire all being inexpensive, Borovets is the perfect place to Ski. It’s also stunning in the Spring and Summer offering many outdoor activities with mountain treks and horse riding, extreme sports, and mountain biking. There are wonderful lakes and many cultural and historical places of interest to visit ensuring there is plenty of interest for the whole family.

The Rila National Park will be of particular interest to nature lovers and those that love the outdoor life. With clean fresh air, serene centuries old pine forests, green meadows sprinkled with fragrant flowers and herbs, blue lakes and majestic snow-capped peaks, it is simply stunning.

Allocated parking, with additional parking at the front of the chalet. There is a stunning meandering river within a one-minute walk of the chalet, which can be seen from the balconies. There are also superb views of the valley. Extra bed linen is provided. Towels are also provided.

There is a £200 returnable deposit to cover any damages, which should be paid when the holiday balance is paid. This sum will be returned within 14 days of your return if there is no damage reported.

We certainly enjoyed the real summer weather in Bulgarian and the beautiful Rila!

I’m writing to thank you for the pleasant stay in your Chalet Picabo! It was very comfortable, spacious and cool during the hot days. We really enjoyed walking in Rila Mountain and exploring the area. The weather was very hot and sunny, so it made up for all the rain in England.

Some of my relatives in Bulgaria came to see us in Rila and were really impressed of your Chalet. We may use your accommodation again in a future. Is the second chalet also available for bookings and is it possible to rent them both?
