Property Description

Both the rooms and the suites are beautifully furnished and are extremely comfortable. There is a toilet & shower, fridge, telephone, satellite T.V., air-conditioning and both the rooms and suites have a large balcony (most with sea views).

There is a communial swimming pool - with poolside bar - sun loungers and umbrellas and there is also a small fitness room.

If you want to lounge on the beach all day, party all night, then Sozopol is the place for you. It is divided into two parts – the ‘Old’ and the ‘New’ Town and both have their own unique features.

Sozopol, said to be the oldest town in Bulgaria and rumored to become one of the most exclusive holiday resorts on the Southern Black Sea coast, has fantastic golden beaches and long hot sunny days. As it is a relatively new holiday resort and not widely promoted, prices are unbelievably cheap.

Small restaurants and bars overlooking the sea with fantastic views and great food can be found all along the edge of the Old Town. The seafood is not to be missed! A pint of larger will set you back 40p and a three course meal, with wine, is under £4.

The 'New' town is modern with a variety of shops, coffee bars, restaurants, bars and Internet cafes. It is here in the 'New' town that you will find the beautiful long, sandy Harmanite Beach, where you can either just relax or soak up the sun, or take advantage of one of the many water sports on offer.

No matter how many times you visit the 'Old' town you will never cease to be amazed by the beautiful winding, narrow, cobbled streets filled with fantastic wooden houses - some dating back to the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th century.

In the 'Old' town is the Central Beach. This is a long, sandy beach with many bars and a variety of places to eat built right on the beach.

Both beaches have sun beds, umbrellas, beachside bars and restaurants situated right on the beach and water sports - pedaloes, banana boats, jet skiing, ringos and scuba diving. There are a couple of trampolines and swings for the ‘the little ones’. For a couple of pounds, why not end your day on the beach with a soothing and relaxing massage – after all sunbathing is exhausting

For those who ‘don’t do sun’ there are several bars on the beach with pool tables and arcade machines.

The climate on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast is typically Mediterranean with long hot summers and mild autumns. The average temperature during the summer months is 24 - 29 degrees centigrade, with an average of 8 to 11 hours sunshine per day. This makes the Sozopol area one of the sunniest in Bulgaria and gives the opportunity of sunbathing and swimming from May to October.

Local Activities

Sozopol offers the opportunity to do everything on your holiday that you would expect to do on a holiday in the ‘Med’. Water sports, sunbathing, exploring and shopping. Take one of the many excursions on offer. Explore this magnificent town from a gypsy horse and carriage.

There is so much to do: you will find you don't have time to do everything.

Wander around the numerous market stalls selling a huge variety of goods. Purchase 'designer' jeans, trainers, handbags, watches etc.

Jump on the small train that leaves from the Town Square and visit the 'Golden Fish' Beach - the water is 'knee high' and an excellent place for the kids.

Had enough of the beach – why not go up into the mountains or explore one of the many forests full of fascinating wildlife.

Take a boat trip down the Ropotomo River rich runs through the National Reserve Park. You could see more than 200 species of birds – seven of which are endangered. Keep an eye out for turtles and snakes.

The fishermen in the Harbour can organise a boat trip where you can experience unforgettable views of Sozopol from the open sea.

Don’t miss the chance to experience a traditional style Bulgarian evening complete with a rich folklore programme – national dances and songs; fire dances (dancing on live coals), Dance music and entertainment.
