Property DescriptionThis property is located in a small cobbled street overlooking the harbour from the back and the sea from the front.
The rooms are comfortably furnished and have a toilet & shower, fridge, satellite T.V., air-conditioning and a balcony with harbour and sea views.
Sozopol is the ideal destination for everyone who wants to get the best from their holiday. If it is lounging on the beach all day in the sun and late night partying, this is the place to be. Sozopol – said to be the oldest town in Bulgaria is divided into two parts. The Old Town to the north with its winding cobbled streets, stone and wooden houses and its unique history is a huge tourist attraction, playing host to visitors from all corners of the world.
The New Town, in contrast, is full of modern hotels, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants and bars that stay open late into the night.
Small restaurants and bars overlooking the sea with fantastic views and great food can be found all along the edge of the Old Town. The seafood is not to be missed! A pint of larger will set you back 40p and a three course meal, with wine, is under £5.
Sozopol in the summer months is a thriving, exciting resort, The Old and the New Towns are linked together by the town park and here you can find many stalls selling ‘designer’ clothes, souvenirs and paintings by local artists. Street entertainers will keep you amused as you stroll by.
Why not wander down to the picturesque old harbour with its hundreds of fishing boats and watch the fishermen unloading their catch. Or take a leisurely tour of this remarkable town on one of the many gypsy horse and carriages lined up waiting for you in the town park. After a hard day of swimming, eating, exploring and shopping, you can either relax with a drink at one of the numerous bars or cafes or dance the night away at one of the many venues catering for the ‘party animal’. The climate on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast is typically Mediterranean with long hot summers and mild autumns. The average temperature during the summer months is 24 - 29 degrees centigrade, with an average of 8 to 11 hours sunshine per day. This makes the Sozopol area one of the sunniest in Bulgaria and gives the opportunity of sunbathing and swimming from May to October. Both the Old and New town have their own fantastic long golden sandy beach, which alternates with small rocky bays and sea caves, which jut out into the sea. Both beaches have sun beds, umbrellas, beachside bars and restaurants situated right on the beach and water sports - pedaloes, banana boats, jet skiing, ringos and scuba diving. There are a couple of trampolines and swings for the ‘the little ones’. For a couple of pounds, why not end your day on the beach with a soothing and relaxing massage – after all sunbathing is exhausting! For those who are not into lying around in the sun, there are bars/restaurants on the beach with pool tables and arcade machines.
