Property DescriptionThis 1-bedroom apartment is on the 2nd floor of a traditional Bulgarian house and is located in a traditional cobbled street right in the centre of the 'Old' town. The fantastic sandy Central Beach is only 400 meters away.
It is comfortably furnished and has a sofa bed in the lounge for an additional person.
There is a well equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare a tasty meal - although eating out in Sozopol is a pleasure as there are so many places to choose from that you are spoilt for choice. Enjoy a tasty snack, a delicious pizza or a 3 course meal, with a bottle of wine, for about £4.
The climate on the Southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast is typically Mediterranean with long hot summers and mild autumns. The average temperature during the summer months is 24 - 29 degrees centigrade, with an average of 8 to 11 hours sunshine per day. This makes the Sozopol area one of the sunniest in Bulgaria and gives the opportunity of sunbathing and swimming from May to October.
Sozopol is divided into two parts - the 'Old' and the 'New' town - both with their own unique features.
The 'New' town is modern with a variety of shops, coffee bars, restaurants, bars and Internet cafes. It is here in the 'New' town that you will find the beautiful long, sandy Harmanite Beach, where you can either just relax and soak up the sun or take advantage of one of the many water sports on offer.
In the 'Old' town is the Central Beach. This is a long, sandy beach with many bars and a variety of places to eat built right on the beach.
No matter how many times you visit the 'Old' town you will never cease to be amazed by the beautiful winding, narrow, cobbled streets filled with fantastic wooden houses - some dating back to the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th century.
Both the Old and New town have their own fantastic long golden sandy beach, which alternates with small rocky bays and sea caves, which jut out into the sea. Both beaches have sun beds, umbrellas, beachside bars and restaurants situated right on the beach and water sports - pedaloes, banana boats, jet skiing, ringos and scuba diving. There are a couple of trampolines and swings for the ‘the little ones’. For a couple of pounds, why not end your day on the beach with a soothing and relaxing massage – after all sunbathing is exhausting!
For those who are not into lying around in the sun, there are bars/restaurants on the beach with pool tables and arcade machines Property Rental RatesAll costs below are on a per week basis unless stated.
