Located in Bansko the newest and the most rapidly developing ski resort in Bulgaria. There are 14 pistes totalling 70km, including a 16km run plus cross country and excellent off piste skiing. Bansko is also popular with snowborders. With one of the longest ski seasons, runing from December to End of April.

Bansko town is a UNESCO World Heritage site consisting of ancient monuments and narrow cobbled streets. There are many high quality traditional taverns offering fantastic food, but also nightclubs and bars for a livelier evening.

In summer hiking and climbing are popular. Mountain bikes can be hired locally in order to explore this beautiful region. Also in summer the town hosts a week long jazz festival and other events.

5% Discount for long stays in excess of 10 days and 10% Discount for stays in excess of 14 days.

Car hire is available from www.bulgariacarrent.com or www.rentacarbulgaria.com. It costs approximately £11 per day including unlimited miles and full insurance. They also offer a cheap chauffeur driven transfer service for those not wishing to drive. A regular public bus runs every hour from Sofia.
